Parker is a local artisan in middle Tennessee where she’s been honing her woodworking craft since 2007. Parker grew up in rural west Tennessee where she spent her childhood years playing at her father’s feet on the sawdust covered floor in the shed behind her family’s home.   It was from watching and helping her father shape and manipulate wood to create and fix numerous items that Parker’s love for woodworking first began.

Nearly a decade ago, Parker began transforming her own outdoor space into a cozy woodshop where she creates a variety of handmade products including children’s toys, detailed birdhouses, wine racks, adirondack chairs, and wall art/hangings.

For her “day job,” Parker is a Licensed Advanced Practice Social Worker and business leader in the state of Tennessee, advocating daily on behalf of underprivileged children and families.
